More Photographic Spring
Primavera Fotogràfica, or Photographic Spring, was a biennial event created by a group of photographers, galleries and cultural centres in Barcelona to promote photography as a means of expression. It was the first step towards cultural recognition of photography. It has been 42 years since the initiative was created and 20 since it disappeared, but it left behind an immense legacy of documents that is worth sharing, given its great success in drawing crowds to public institutions, private entities, galleries and art schools around Catalonia in its 12 editions.
