Perfect Woman
“Woman Ironing is a window into the life of many women throughout history who have spent their lives as homemakers. Suddenly, I saw it there and felt that sad look in her eyes had a lot to say. Through dance and other means of expression, I came up with the idea of a ‘Perfect Woman’ who, for just a moment, lets herself get swept up in the music, among rags and scouring pads, and forgets about everything waiting to be done.”
